What will I be doing?
The Ex Libris CXO business unit is seeking an analyst for the 24/7 HUB. The
24/7 HUB monitors and oversees the entire Ex Libris cloud and is meant to
provide fast resolutions to critical issues that arise.
A Typical Day Might Include The Following
* Work with and operate various monitoring and control systems.
* Analyze and resolve critical issues within the cloud as they arise from the various monitoring systems.
* Analyze and resolve weekly and monthly software update issues.
* Perform analysis of critical cases raised by customers for all company products.
* Maintain communication with clients and different employees within the organization.
* Scripting and fixing new/existing monitoring checks.
* Maintain a general overview of all activities performed in the cloud and raise red flags when relevant.
Qualified Candidates Must Have
* BA degree in a relevant field – Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or relevant courses.
* Minimum of 1-year experience as a Linux system engineer
* Basic understanding of network and application monitoring concepts and management tools, such as Nagios, Zenoss or similar systems
* Experience in providing services and communicating with a large-scale customer base
* Experience in technical analysis
* English at a very high level, both written and spoken
* Service oriented
* Strong analytical skills and ability to collate and interpret data from various sources
* Strong communication skills
* Strong multitasking capabilities
* Ability to work in a team and good rapport with others
* Ability to learn independently
* Organized and detail-oriented
It Would Be Awesome If You Also Had
* Familiarity with Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Hadoop
* Experience in a round-the-clock call center, NOC or HUB
* Knowledge in scripting language (C-shell, bash, Perl) and programing
* Knowledge in storage and backup
* Knowledge in networking diagnosis
* Additional languages

* This position is based in the Jerusalem, Israel office
* Candidate must be willing to work on a shift rotation basis
* The representative will report to the 24×7 Hub and Tier1 Manager
