period of hyper-growth, having doubled our headcount in 2021 so we are on the
lookout for exceptional team lead engineers to help us scale the International
team!
The International team has significant impact on the main growing line of
business in Clearco and is responsible for scaling what Clearco did best for
US & Canada to all over the globe, focusing now on European and Asian markets.
The International team is responsible for designing and developing all
integrations with third party vendors as well as within other groups in
Clearco, which allow us to scale our products to new countries. The team is
also involved with defining how the whole Clearco ecosystem should look like
in order to support each new market's requirements.
The team is multidisciplinary, comprising engineers, designers, product
managers, and product operations. We care deeply about the people who use our
products and the team plays an integral part in empathizing with the needs and
behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design.
What your day-to-day will look like:
* You will manage people, as a people manager you will be given a high degree of responsibility and will be empowered to take decisions, as such, you will be expected to empower and leverage your people – we hire the best people, we want to make every voice count
* You will be on the front-lines for developing new capabilities needed to support our global customers as well as improving current services
* You will take the lead on highly visible technical features and cross product architecture decisions, help others on the team with complex problems to manage significant scale and load on the platform and work closely with the product team and designers to create great products that our customers love
* Be actively involved in product definition, design/development, QA and deployment
* Work in a fast paced, energetic agile environment, structured as individual sprints
* You'll be involved in projects of varying scope and complexity, including but not limited to:
* Microservices architecture and ClearCo applications
* Internal business intelligence and productivity tools for sales, operations and product teams
* Utilizing and leveraging GCP tools and services
* Integrations with a incredibly wide variety of 3rd party vendors & data sources
* Data-visualization products, both internal and customer-facing
* Systems for onboarding customers
* Sign-up flows

Technical Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
* 3+ years of experience as team leader.
* 5+ years of experience building web applications and services with technologies like (but not limited to): Nodejs, TypeScript, Angular, Golang, Java, Scala, Groovy, Rust and C++
* Experience in mentoring team members and focusing on their growth.
* Experience working with cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure
* Proven track record of scaling web applications on top of large, distributed systems with technologies like (but not limited to): Queues, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL and NoSql DBs
* SQL database programming and performance
* Data structures and algorithms
* Enterprise systems and asynchronous architectures
