Job Description
This position is part of iNAND (mobile embedded flash storage) Customer
Engineering group that has the following main missions:
* Manages all the legacy products customizations driven by customers asks
* Drives customers FW returns resolutions
* Responsible for periodic maintenance releases that introduce new features and fixes to the end user
As part of this position the Team Leader will mainly do:
* Hands-on development as part of the time
* Manage and monitor the team effective execution and high quality
* Drive complex investigations
* Lead our FW market based projects from requirements scoping through development and full project qualification
This role demands excellent system and software architecture view, very good
analytical and problem solving abilities and native project management leader
skills.
Our firmware code is written in C language while our system tests and scripts
are written in Python.
The firmware development is done on multiple environments: starting with unit
tests and full HWSW simulations over PC (C language over Visual Studio) and
finally on our HW iNAND chip.
You will work closely with multiple colleague engineers, deal with customer
pressure for quick resolution, innovate solutions and FW customer demos and
develop products that will be sold in millions across the whole world.
Qualifications
* B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software / Computers / Electrical Engineering
* Team player and excellent interpersonal skills
* At least 5 years of experience in RT embedded systems and C development
* At least 3-5 years of managerial experience
* Previous experience in leading software projects with multiple developers – An advantage
* Previous RTOS experience (e.g. ThreadX / MQX / Nucleus / VxWorks / Embedded Linux) – An advantage
* Very good presentation skills
