In This Role You Will
Join a team that is working on the toughest and most interesting technology
challenges in the Big Data and BI world. You will be working with the latest
and most innovative technologies such as – Kafka, KafkaStream, Hadoop, Spark,
Java, Scala, Cassandra, ElasticSearch
* Design and develop data API solutions for consumers
* Design and develop Hadoop jobs to support offline data pipeline
* Design and develop services for online data flows
* Drive infrastructure initiatives and implement robust and scalable solutions.
* Work with developers, architects, product managers and other stakeholders, facilitate and accelerate execution.
Your Qualifications Are
* Advanced knowledge in object-oriented design and programming concepts
* 6+ years of experience in software development (Java/JVM language)
* Understanding of the challenges in distributed systems
* Ability to learn and adopt new technologies
* Excellent communication skills
* Team player
* Strong analysis and design skills
* Experience with at least 1 item from the following
* Big Data technologies (Hadoop for example)
* Spark
* Scala
* Proven experience in leading projects from design to production.
