Solution Architect- ServiceNow

The Solution Architect – ServiceNow is responsible for designing complex
ServiceNow solutions and components. This position will be responsible for
identifying and leading the implementation of best practices and architectural
solutions for the ServiceNow platform. The resource is responsible for the
quality of technical requirements delivered to the customers on the platform.
The Solution Architect will define and presenting solutions to customers to
gain their buy-in and lead the team towards a successful outcome. In this
role, the Solution Architect is responsible for overall solution architecture
design.

Job Responsibilities:

* Provide technical leadership and guidance of ServiceNow-based solutions from early phase proposals through, design, code, test, and implementation.
* Provide effective communication to project management, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
* Serve as a liaison between architecture, business customers, solution development, project managers, and support teams.
* Ability to speak the languages of both business and technology and quickly determine the right message to the right audience.
* Lead technical discussions to determine new solutions and/or changes within the current solution infrastructure.
* Timely communication of concerns and issues that may affect any environment, project schedule, and/or user acceptance of the developed solution to the product manager and project manager.
* Prepare and present reports regarding the operational state of the environment for managerial review.
* Document solutions designs in technical architecture documents and solution architecture documents.
* Understand business requirements and its business viabilities.
* Determine gaps between business requirements and product functionalities and define workable solutions to bridge the gaps.
* Design detailed solutions through partnering with project resources that may include solution development, process analysts, network engineering, server engineering, and information security.
* Establish and enforce systems design and architectural standards through communication, documentation, and design reviews.
* Execute technical presentations to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences
* Evaluate ServiceNow products and solutions that might improve or enhance services provided.

Qualification

* 3+ years of proven experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform (including custom applications)
* Hands on Architect with experience in all aspects of Platform (Service Portal, Configurations, Mobile, UX, Flow Designer etc)
* Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions (SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST)
* Proven track record of technical leadership in delivering complex implementations
* Applications integration, workflow design, analytics
* Expert in Platform Architecture and knowledgeable of the latest features.
* Provide Product guidance in Knowledge and Usage for one or more modules (CSM , HRSD,PSM, App Engine)
* Provide a recommended design authority structure and Implementation Approach
* Provide Architecture design (Integration, Data Architecture, Platform Alignment).
* Ability to conduct Design & Configuration Reviews
* Evaluate product and process designs assuring they utilize available configuration option and align with the ServiceNow road map, which reduces customization, prevents technical debt, and enables optimal platform health.
* Perform manual investigations on issues identified to provide advice and recommendations as to how specific issues may be remediated
* Able to Mitigate Customization and use Out of the Box features
* Review artifacts and provide recommendations for course correction/improvement and optimization.
* Provide architecture and application design recommendations.
* Assist facilitation of the workshops for the ServiceNow Platform, Integrations and in-scope applications/processes
* Recommend the right design avoiding technical debt and achieving a platform for long-term success.

Preferred:

* BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
* Experience implementing development work using Agile/Scrum and/or SDLC methodology
* 5 years’ experience of working with and designing enterprise platforms with experience across design, installation, configuration, deployment troubleshooting, and support
* 3 to 5 years of application implementation, support, development desired.
* Advanced ServiceNow Certifications a plus
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
