The Technical Writer is an experienced and proactive individual with native
English background, technical orientation, and a passion for technology and
cyber security. This individual will lead all activities around product
release documentation, user knowledge base, and communication of new product
features and capabilities. The role includes writing articles from scratch,
updating and reviewing existing articles, and customer community activities.
Responsibilities:
* Produce and manage all product documentation activities and processes including release notes, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
* Create and publish customer-facing feature release announcements, further enhancing our customer community platforms and activities.
* Work closely with product management, R&D, and customer success teams to ensure product communications are accurate, clear, and easy to understand.
Requirements:
* Native English speaker
* 3+ years in a technical writing role
* Demonstrated proficiency in oral, writing, and presentation abilities
* Familiarity with technical writing tools and procedures (Paligo, Zendesk, or similar tools)
* Experience with customer engagement (Gainsight, Marketo, or similar platforms)
* Experience in the cyber security market and familiarity with cyber security terms
* Technical background/user experience and/or interface/product management/customer success experience in the cyber security market – an advantage
