We're now looking for a Competitive Intelligence Analyst to join us and
analyze the data, extract meaning and insights for increasing our value and
offering.
The Competitive Intelligence Analyst will be:
* Responsible for monitoring and reporting on industry and technical developments.
* Combines research and analytical skills to interpret and predict the likely actions of competitors and will model scenarios based on possible different options undertaken by competitors.
* Analyze and model impacts of competitor offerings on the company’s products and services.
* Initiate and conduct research activities to gather information on competitors, their products, go-to-market and overall performance, to help the company make better decisions through competitive intelligence.
Responsibilities:
* Remain fully informed on market trends and competitors’ activity map, track and classify the different competitors across the entire company’s products, solutions and services.
* Perform a valid and reliable competition SWOT analysis
* Utilize online market research and catalog findings to databases
* Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data
* Formulate a plan, present it to senior management and lead its execution
* Interpret data, formulate reports, make recommendations and communicate them across the business
Requirements:
* Academic degree, preferably applicants who have studied information systems, business administration, or other business-oriented disciplines.
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a competitive / business/market/product analyst in a tech company
* Technical background/ability to understand and analyze technological products
* Familiarity with SaaS products, go-to-market, economics and metrics
* Background or understanding in online marketing
* Excellent and creative research skills with the ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of data from multiple sources
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
* Strong investigative or research skills, proactive, organized and detail-oriented
