We are looking for a passionate Strategic Content Manager to join our Business
Development team:
The candidate we are looking for has strong written communication skills and
an innovative approach to content creation across a variety of media and
channels as well as developing strategic collaborations with relevant industry
leading magazines. The Content Strategist will be responsible for researching,
creating, writing, managing, and executing copy and content strategies that
will grow HP Indigo unique technology and our Community’s brand awareness and
engagement.
Reporting to the Head of Market Development, you will help to establish HP
Indigo unique technology as an thought leader in the fields of digital
printing, developing content across all stages of the buyer’s journey.
The ideal candidate will bring an approachable, engaging tone that will help
shape HP Indigo technology brand. Working closely with subject matter experts
and the product, sales and marketing teams, you will drive the development of
a wide range of content including blog posts, ebooks, research-based reports,
newsletters, webinars, infographics, videos, case studies, white papers and
more to fuel our demand generation strategy and drive measurable results. You
will support communications, public relations, and demand generation, and
social media activities as needed.
Responsibilities
* Build and execute a content roadmap to support the buyer’s journey
* Develop and maintain a rolling editorial and content calendar tied to key themes that support our overall go-to-market strategy and channels
* Drive thought leadership, prospect engagement, and quality leads
* Partner with our segment managers team, capturing their stories in the form of case studies, blog posts, and videos
* Partner with 3rd parties & leading magazines on content strategic plans
* Team closely with HP PR on content to support article placement and other awareness initiatives
Professional Skills
* BA/BS degree
* 5+ years’ experience in software / technology marketing
* Experience building online communities
* Excellent writing and storytelling skills
* Proven experience developing a range of content types to support key influencer and decision-maker personas
* Superior planning and organizational skills with a proven track record of managing freelance content developers
* Ability to collaborate and effectively work across an international organization
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with agility
* Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of work
* Ability to work independently as well as a high performing team member
* Critical thinker
* Experience with print industry (an advantage)
* Background in journalism, communications, engineering, or product development (an advantage)
* Interest in online communities, crowdsourcing, software
