In This Role You Will
* Design and develop data API solutions for consumers
* Design and develop Hadoop jobs to support offline data pipeline
* Design and develop services for online data flows
* Drive infrastructure initiatives and implement robust and scalable solutions.
* Work with developers, architects, product managers and other stakeholders, facilitate and accelerate execution.
Your Qualifications Are
* 4+ years of experience in software development (Java/JVM language)
* 4+ Familiarity with Big Data technologies – must
* 4+ Experience with Spark – must
* Advanced knowledge in object-oriented design and programming concepts
* Understanding of the challenges in distributed systems
* Ability to learn and adopt new technologies
* Proven experience in leading projects from design to production
* Excellent communication skills
* Team player
* Strong analysis and design skills
* Experience with Scala – advantage
