The role
We are looking for a seasoned, passionate and experienced R&D Team Lead to
join our rapidly growing R&D organization, determined to develop new solutions
which will transform the future of financial services around the globe.
As a Backend Team Lead you will manage a highly skilled and enthusiastic team
of Software Developers, specializing in Server-Side Engineering. You will be
responsible for the design, implementation, delivery and quality of our
platform components and microservices. You will be collaborating with a global
tech and Product teams, interfacing with other groups around the globe and
join a rapidly growing FinTech community.
Responsibilities Will Include
* Lead, mentor, manage and grow a team of highly skilled Software Developers
* Provide technical leadership & guidance including Design & code reviews ; Seek and choose technical solutions to meet current and future needs ; Adherence to high development standards and practices
* Track team development process and assume ownership and accountability over product delivery, quality and timelines
* Set high quality standards, ensure resilience, performance and stability of a business critical components
* Work in partnership with global tech team (inbound and outbound)
* Take a leading role in design and implementation of a cloud-based SaaS platform
Requirements
* Strong Leadership skills. Experience in managing development teams (3+ years)
* Highly skilled at server side development using Java and Spring
* Experienced in data modelling using SQL NoSQL databases and ORMs.
* Proven track record of delivery of web-based SaaS solutions on public cloud (preferably AWS)
* Proven experience delivering micro-service component, including DevOps aspects
* Proven experience supporting and maintaining a 24/7 production environment
* Passionate about technology, ability to research and determine best practices
* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, agile environment
* B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
* Excellent verbal and written commination skills (both Hebrew and English)
