BI Senior Developer/BI Team Leader

Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced end-to-end Business
Intelligence developer, for managing and design advanced BI solutions,
includes ETL processes, Data modeling, and reporting, mostly in Microsoft
tools.
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across Varonis in order to develop
and deliver end-to-end dashboard and analytics solutions to enable business
insights and decisions. You will be the subject matter expert in creating
interactive visualizations and automated reporting to support shared business
goals. You will be a part of a high-functioning and collaborative Business
Intelligence & Analytics team.
You Are Responsible For
Business Intelligence Analytics & Reporting, includes the following
activities:
Develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI
solutions using tools available in the landscape including and not limited to
Power BI, Azure, SQL Server.
Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design,
produce data samples/prototypes and produce ad hoc reports. Obtain and analyze
data by accessing multiple sources. Demonstrate strong querying skills include
SQL and DAX to enable agile data analysis and data preparation for front-end
BI implementation.
Provide technical assistance as necessary to end-users as well as development
staff
Job Requirements
* 3+ years as a BI Developer or as a Team Leader – mandatory
* Development experience with BI tools – mandatory, Microsoft Power platform and Analysis Services – advantage
* Understanding of dimensional modeling – mandatory
* SQL- mandatory
* DAX – strong advantage
* Python – advantage
* Experience with source control systems (TFS, Git, or other) – advantage
* Leading end-to-end BI projects – advantage
* Self-motivated and self-directed
* Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
* Goal-oriented, organized team player
* Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
* English verbal and written communication skills
