DoubleVerify is a big data and analytics company. We track and analyze tens of
billions of ads every day for the biggest brands in the world like Apple,
Nike, AT&T, Disney, Vodafone, and most of the Fortune 500 companies. If you
ever saw an Ad online via Web, Mobile or CTV device then there are big chances
that it was analyzed and tracked by us.
We operate at a massive scale, our backend handles over 100B+ events per day,
we analyze and process those events in real-time while making decisions on the
environment where the ad is running and all the user interactions during the
Ad display lifecycle. We verify that all Ads are Fraud Free, Brand Safe, in
the right Geo and highly likely to be viewed and engaged, all that in less
than a fraction of second.

What You’ll Do
As a Cloud Architect, part of the Developers Guild team, you will help define
guidelines and practices to support running DV’s workloads in the cloud.
You’ll architect and rearchitect systems to better utilize cloud services and
better use cloud development methodologies, in a cost-efficient manner which
is continuously optimized. You’ll partner with measurement teams and other
departments in the engineering organization to drive major changes in tools
and methodologies, integrate tools, support and guide teams as they design and
develop new cloud-native systems as well as transition existing workloads to
the cloud. You will code POCs, develop tools to better manage cost, help
design systems and solutions and take part in getting these solutions to
production.
An integral part of your role is to also mentor developers – by pair-
programming as well as lecturing, be the go-to person for architecture and
design questions and review, promote good engineering and software design
practices and adherence to best practices. You’ll define standards and
guidelines and educate developers in all teams.
Who You Are
* BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
* 7+ years hands-on experience designing and building high scale, complex applications.
* 3+ years of experience designing and running intensive cloud-native systems, preferably GCP
* Proven experience optimizing cloud services cost
* Hands-on experience and good understanding of a variety of technologies, programming languages and toolkits such as Scala/Java and Akka, JavaScript and TypeScript, Kafka and Big Data stream processing.
* Superb understanding of SDLC process
* Great presentation skills and a passion for sharing knowledge and teaching others
* Experience working in a high-paced organizations
* Excellent English
