suite of tools that reduce or eliminate the work required to protect
applications from vulnerabilities and threats.
We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst. The successful candidate will
turn data into insights and insights into product growth bringing more value
to our customers.
Data Analyst responsibilities include
* Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
* Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
* Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
* Demonstrating the significance of their work in the context of local, global, and cross industry trends that impact both the customer level and industry wide.
* Designing and developing reporting assets for strategic clients that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
* Designing and maintaining data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
* Collaborating with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
* Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
Requirements
* Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
* Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
* Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
* Experience working with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, query authoring (SQL/NoSQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
* Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
* Knowledge of data visualization software like Sisnse, Qlik, Tableau
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
* Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
* Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Verbal and Written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and effective people leadership skills.
* BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
* Experience with cyber security domain – advantage
* Experience with Amazon Redshift, Amazon RDS Aurora and AWS Glue – advantage
