Role
Proxymity is looking for a Data Analyst to join the team. This will be the
first Data Analyst in the company and will therefore provide an exciting
opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will liaise with
both internal and external stakeholders, extract insights from data, and build
dashboards and reports.
Responsibilities Will Include
* Work alongside technology (engineering) and product to ensure the platform contains the right key data to produce data results requested from the business and clients.
* Managing the client reporting process, speaking with clients on a regular basis and translating reporting needs into technical specifications
* Help to design reports to help manage connected partners and their performance within the platform.
* Producing both internal and external reports on Proxymity’s data
* Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
* Analysing data to discover trends and patterns
* Presenting information using data visualization techniques
* Developing strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
* Applying industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or a Data Scientist.
* Solid experience in data analysis and reporting
* Client-facing experience essential
* Proven experience with BI tools as (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, SiSense).
* Strong SQL skills.
* Experience with analysing sensitive, private, or highly confidential data.
* Analytical mind and business acumen
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Proven experience with ETL processes and tools.
* Familiarity with machine-learning is an advantage
* Familiarity with data science and machine learning technologies (e.g. Pandas, scikit-learn) – an advantage.
* Experience with AWS – an advantage.
* Outstanding collaboration skills; team player.
* Problem-solving aptitude
* BSc/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field
