Interfaced daily with the R&D Team to identify and resolve problems found
during testing.
Responsibilities:
* Be part of the Data QA Automation Team and the R&D Department, Interfacing on a daily basis with the different development teams, identifying and resolving problems found during testing bridging the data department and core developers.
* Developing and supporting our Data automation framework.
* Applying data mining concepts and techniques to ensure the quality of the data that is produced by our product
* Building and maintaining solutions for data integrity testing and monitoring. Ensuring the accessibility of the data stored in various databases.
* Providing insights about the design and the implementation of data related algorithms while ensuring their correctness and scalability.
* Hands-on involvement in all phases of product development, including planning, design, implementation, and execution of manual and automated tests, defect logging and verification, and reporting results. and maintain QA Test Plans and Test Runs by QA Methodologies.
* Produce analytics over test results.
* Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Great English
* Experience in programming – in Automation QA or as a Developer – At least 2 years
* Experience as Python developer (great advantage!)
* Profound understanding of AWS cloud concept and Technologies
* Advanced SQL and understanding of database concepts
* Experience in automation of Big Data – At list one year
* Understanding of OOP concepts
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
* Independent, a fast learner with a “can do” attitude
* Experience with testing enterprise and big data products
* Experience with Micro Services architecture
* Basic Unix abilities
An Advantage:
* Experience (military/academic) analyzing big data sets
* Experience with PyTest framework
* Experience and knowledge of Data Science frameworks
* BA/BS in computer science / engineering or any other technology related field.
* Experience with QA methodologies
* Experience with non-relational databases (NoSQL)
* Understanding of data warehousing concepts
* Amazing Excel skills
