Cybereason is looking for expert Software Engineers to join our data-platform
team.
The data-platform team is responsible for building the next generation of our
big-data solutions: ingesting high-volume streams of data from multiple
systems, enriching that data, processing it, and providing real-time queries,
visualizations, insights, alerts, and other features from it.
Our Data Engineers build the data pipelines and analytics solutions on
multiple cloud providers for our internal and external customers to answer
questions with data and drive critical improvements for the business. We are
looking for a talented Data Engineer who is passionate about using data to
drive crucial business and security decisions regarding our security
framework. This role will focus on managing and implementing world-class
processes around designing, collecting, organizing, and presenting data to
analyze traffic, understand customer behavior, feature performance, and
marketing efforts from business partnerships.
We are looking for a Data Engineering Team Lead to join us! As part of our
great Team you will:
* Lead a team of data engineers, BI, and FE developers.
* Design and implement data pipelines for multiple data sources
* Monitor & Maintain production streaming and batch applications
* Promote best practices coding, code complete standards, OO programming & design patterns
* Collaborating with our architects, product owners, and data scientists to capture, format, and prepare data for machine learning
Requirements:
* At least two years of experience as a Java team leader (3-7 people) – must.
* Experience managing big data teams in large environments.
* Leadership capabilities – can lead development activities, team player, motivate and mentor team members.
* BSc. in computer science/software engineering.
* Extensive Java knowledge (Java Core, multithreading, Spring, Java EE).
* Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and micro-services architecture.
* Experienced with current SW development practices (SCRUM, Unit tests, source control, TDD, CI, CD, deployment automation).
* Experience in Elasticsearch, Spark, Hadoop, Vertica, HBase, Angular, React, Docker, Kubernetes – big advantage!
* Experience in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/OCI).
* Resourceful, innovative, and promoting new technologies.
