Fiverr is looking for an experienced DevOps Team leader for the Developer
Experience team that responsible for CI/CD, developer-facing automation, and
development environment workflows
In this position, you will design and implement scalable systems that will
keep Fiverr running smoothly and support our significant business growth. You
will join an innovative, high-performance team and work with cutting-edge
technologies in a dynamic and agile environment.
Fiverr’s Stack
AWS, Kubernetes, Chef, Terraform, Jenkins, CircleCI, Aurora-MySql, MongoDB,
Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, NodeJS, Go, Groovy.
Responsibilities
* Own and Evolve Developer Experience domain in Fiverr.
* Evolve and scale Fiverr CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes
* Evolve and scale Fiverr development environments and techniques
* Develop and adopt new tools to make Development and Operations processes at Fiverr more efficient.
* Collaborate with developers to optimize service performance, reliability, failover, and scale.
* Maintain Fiverr availability by participating in DevOps on-call shifts.
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience as DevOps/SRE team leader, working with Kubernetes and writing scripts in Python/NodeJS/Ruby/Go/Groovy.
* Experience with delivering applications to Kubernetes
* Production experience with Public Cloud & container orchestration systems.
* Deep understanding of IaC concepts and experience with tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, Chef, Puppet, etc.
* Broad knowledge and experience with popular monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Graphite, Newrelic, etc.
* Experience with administering large-scale web applications on modern platforms.
Advantages
* Experience as a developer in a high cadence startup environment
* Knowledge of Kubernetes, service-mesh, Nginx-ingress
* Experience with running production workloads on AWS platform.
* Experience with software development and development frameworks
* Provisioning and operating relational databases such as MySQL
* Provisioning and operating NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch …
