As Director of UX Writing you’ll lead and manage Fiverr’s UX writing team and
help us craft a seamless and rewarding experience for our millions of users.
As the key decision-maker for product content strategy, you’ll refine and
maintain our voice and tone and recruit, mentor, and develop the writers
within our team. You'll collaborate closely with other stakeholders across the
company, on short and long-term projects, to translate requirements into
design solutions that solve both customer and business needs. This includes
interfacing with our product design, product management and developer teams,
to understand what options and limitations must be considered, and making
content recommendations that push the envelope.
Responsibilities
* Present new solutions and recommendations to product managers and stakeholders, using expertise and persuasion to influence the product vision
* Write thoughtful, helpful UX microcopy: headings, labels, calls to actions, and other copy elements that drive the user experience
* Form and contribute to Fiverr style guides. Champion and refine Fiverr’s voice and tone
* Develop and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with different stakeholders
* Work on different projects simultaneously, while constantly optimizing and iterating
* Write precise, smart, and on-brand copy for mobile and web interfaces
* Build meaningful and groundbreaking UX writing methodologies
* Build and execute content strategies
* Mentor the UX Writing team
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in writing, editing, or building Product UX writing strategies
* Masters degree in English, journalism, communications, writing, or media studies
* Capacity to clearly articulate the ideas and thoughts behind actions and choices
* Expert ability to translate complex concepts into clear, articulate statements
* Experience in collaborating with product designers and product managers
* Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
* A strong and diverse writing portfolio
* Native English speaker—must
