We are looking for an experienced Manager of Brand Marketing to join the
Disney+ team in Israel. This is a full-time permanent position based in our
office in Tel Aviv. Reporting to the Local Head of Media, this person will be
responsible for the local brand marketing strategy and execution; working
closely with the content team and our regional brand teams.
This will include setting direction for the brand within Israel to deliver
against our commercial and brand-specific objectives. The Manager will be
responsible for the development of insight-driven marketing strategies and
best in class campaigns for Disney+, at both an overarching brand level and IP
specific executions. The focus, and measurement of success, is to build brand
awareness, understanding and consideration of Disney+ to a wide range of
consumer segments thereby driving up subscription and conversion rates.
Responsibilities:
* Adapt global and regional D+ marketing strategies for local purposes, lead and execute brand strategy to increase brand awareness and create new communication platforms
* Responsible for developing new and innovative strategies with a local relevance
* Work in partnership with local Media Team to manage and coach the importance of brand purpose, vision, values, proposition consistency and how to deliver this meaningfully to consumers; ensure media plans are connected and intertwined with their activity
* Managing agencies and leading them to create and execute industry leading, insight driven, innovative & effective marketing campaigns for Disney+ at a brand and specific IP level, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget
* Manage and be responsible for campaign planning process and timelines, including internal and external briefings, implementation and post-campaign reporting & analysis ensuring learnings and recommendations flow into future activity
* Oversee the social media strategy and plans for the Disney+ brand by managing all key owned and earned platforms (Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snap etc)
* Be the go-to PR and comms D+ manager for global, regional and local stakeholders, working closely and managing the PR agency, to ensure all comms are in line with company guidelines and priorities
* Day to day management of the media agency, building a strong and trusted partnership to ensure continued innovative and effective campaigns
* Detailed campaign budget management, tracking purchase orders, managing vendors, and supporting Finance & Senior Management with quarterly financial planning
* Understand the competitive environment from both a platform and content perspective (Streaming, TV/SVOD & Theatrical), applying insights to gain competitive advantage.
Basic Qualifications:
* A Bachelor’s Degree with several years of relevant experience at a Manager level within a DTC and/or digital distribution environment
* Strong knowledge of subscription services and its competitive landscape
* Prior experience in developing and managing brand marketing campaigns across the marketing mix
* Comprehensive experience pitching, converting and managing brand partnerships
* Proven ability to use data and insights to establish, track and optimize media plans against KPIs
* Ability to formulate, manage high profile, end to end marketing campaigns
* Research and determine brand areas to be modified
* Provide guidance and advice on how to develop effective brand positioning in the market
* Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insights development
* Coordinate with the team to launch and oversee advertising and media planning
* Coordinate with the team to manage a campaign budget, including planning, tracking and reporting
* Hebrew language skills is essential
