create product-related content . As an ideal candidate, you have proven
experience in a highly technical field, such as software development, computer
science, or engineering. You are able to evaluate and analyze complex
information, and have a natural desire to help people understand things that
are hard to understand
Responsibilities:
* Obtain a deep understanding of Model9 products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging technical content
* Write user-friendly documentation that meets the needs of the Model9’s target audience
* Work with Software Developers, Field engineering, Product Managers, and Customer Support to develop high-quality technical documentation
* Evaluate current documentation and suggest creative approaches to improve deliverables and processes
* Develop content for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation
* Own Model9 documentation platform, for new and existing content
* Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write product user guide, technical specifications, and FAQ documentation
* Assist with our product user interface texts and messaging
Requirements:
* Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
* Experience in writing excellent technical documentation for complex software products, preferably in mainframe / storage domain
* Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for details
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills w
* Experience working with engineering to improve user experience – optional
* Firm understanding of the product life cycle
* Previous software development experience – optional
* Experience with documentation platforms, such as GitBook
* Native English speaker
* Proficient Hebrew speaker
