We are looking for a Managing Director to build Surprise.com's presence in
Israel, providing strong hands-on leadership. You will lead and collaborate
cross-functionally (marketing, product, engineering) to drive growth and
ensure a smooth operation all-around. As Managing Director, you will be
responsible for owning operations and strategy while overseeing the
development of Surprise.com in a brand new environment.
What will you be doing?
* Collaborating with marketing, creative, and merchandizing;
* Managing the kick-start of a new team and office;
* Strategically directing business, ensuring alignment with broader company goals and vision;
* Identifying areas of white space and opportunities to grow;
* Owning the P&L and scaling the business rapidly;
* Running day-to-day operations.
What are we looking for?
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience. MBA a plus;
* 5-10 years of experience scaling a high-growth products company, with deep experience in digital marketing. Experience working at a mobile-first start up is a big plus;
* Data-driven mindset, strong business judgment, and proven ability to perform analysis, draw key insights, and form and execute a strategy;
* Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams and across geographies;
* Proven self-starter with owner’s mentality; some entrepreneurial experience is preferred.
What skills will come in handy?
* Experience in a similar launcher role in another tech company;
* Experience working in a high-growth, early-stage startup.
