The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a development and implementation
focused Project Manager to join us in Ra’anana, Israel. In this role, you will
manage the Red Hat development and implementation products and services.
You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams from across the company, with a focus
on delivering new or upgrading existing products. You’ll manage projects from
initiation through to delivery and closure, including planning and
coordinating schedules and monitoring the allocated budget. As a Project
Manager, you’ll organize cross-functional activities, ensuring the completion
of projects on time and within budget.
Primary Job Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver complex projects according to deadlines, budget, and quality benchmarks
* Manage project governance tasks together with periodic reporting
* Monitor team performance against contract and customer expectations and according to key performance metrics
* Effectively manage and communicate project tasks and commitments with project team members
* Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
* Manage customer expectations, through collaboration with stakeholders across the organization and develop effective working relationships
* Demonstrate vast knowledge in project or program management methodologies, platforms, and tools
* Proactively consult on best practices and creative solutions, based on a deep understanding of the customers' goals; lead change management accordingly
* Be actively involved in optimizing and improving work processes and methodologies; manage retrospective and Lessons Learned sessions for continuous improvement
Required Skills
* 5+ years of experience in project or program management
* Management capabilities; leadership, decision making, and change management skills
* Ability to successfully operate under pressure
* Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, positive attitude, and motivated
* Solid methodological background, reliable, quick learner, excellent relationship building skills
* Improvisation skills, ability to think creatively
* Desire to proactively and flexibly take on new challenges, applying past experience
* Willingness to participate and contribute to international relevant initiatives
* Fluent written and spoken English
