About The Job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers
build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the
street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead
complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with
stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks,
and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your
job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and
deadlines.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us — and we
want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to
build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into
our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

The Waze Quality and Program Management team spans across multiple disciplines
where you will lead complex projects. This includes planning requirements with
internal customers, leading projects through the project lifecycle, managing
project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating clear goals to project
stakeholders.

Projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to
keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

Waze R&D is all about teamwork. The most innovative developers and designers
work together in small groups to build products that are used by millions.
Engineers work side by side with Product and UX in a fast, creative atmosphere
with minimal documentation. Our team members are self-sufficient and problem
solvers. We are looking for people who are passionate about Waze, its
community and who are always one step ahead in development platforms, new
functionality and APIs.

Responsibilities

* Lead the quality aspects around certain Waze's product areas and within your working group.
* Work with stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive set of test requirements are understood and aligned to business objectives.
* Manage a group of test-engineers working to ensure Waze’s product's quality and excellence.
* Investigate and recommend tools to support testing efforts' objectives and processes align to the overall testing strategy.
* Monitor quality and testing goals and transformation agenda. Define and execute strategic initiatives to realize those objectives.
