As a Program Manager you will manage few projects from initiation stage,
working with Marketing and Product managers through development to a
successful release. You will manage the day-to-day working of several SW
projects and activities, managing projects/products lifecycle and ensuring
that R&D is working on the most important tasks, and that releases happen on
time and with a high quality. In addition, you will cooperate with other
programs including hardware projects and with entities external to R&D
department ensuring products are rolled out properly
The ideal candidate is a strong and independent individual, with strong
background in SW development who knows how to lead a team in the right
direction even without a formal authority.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with DEV Teams, QA, Product managers and other stakeholders. Work closely with the R&D Team leads and Product Managers to make sure that the right things are being worked on and programs/releases are delivered on time.
* Help prioritizing product development efforts by balancing feature requests, reported issues, customer requirements and business constraints.
* Collaborating with other departments at the company, such as Marketing, Engineering and Support group assisting them with R&D tier support issues.
* Cooperating with other Program managers both Software and Hardware.
* Defining and implementing development processes and tools.
Requirements
* B.Sc. in Computer Science or similar
* 4+ years of experience as a Program/Project Manager
* SW development experience and strong technical background
* SW architecture understanding
* Solid understanding of SW development lifecycle
* Working experience in a company that creates and markets its own products
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining proactive and can-do attitude
* Experience in Agile environments
* English – Fluent
