The Salesforce Expert is responsible for design, configuration and
implementation of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and supports the company business
strategies and objectives. This role provides technical consulting to relevant
business units, business users, and technical associates
Responsibilities
* Acquire and interpret business requirements, create a functional specification documentation, provide accurate estimates, and meet deadlines on deliverables.
* Work closely with business leadership, business analysts, developers, architects, and other key stakeholders in the design, configuration & build of SFDC.
* Mitigate significant risks associated with projects, which have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business.
* Ensure Salesforce data integrity.
* Participates in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM.
* Maintain and support custom objects, fields, user roles, profiles, workflows, email templates and applications.
* Guide the team in translating requirements into Salesforce configuration, identifying where custom development/integration may need to occur.
* Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the discovery and investigation of critical production problems as required.
* Make presentations to management, clients, and peer groups as requested.
* Provide tier 2, on-call support for critical web application problems and issues.
* Produce project management documentation, such as project plans/timelines, project requirements and acceptance criteria, status reports, budget reports and resource utilization reports.
* Manage Salesforce releases by using Salesforce Trust calendar & Salesforce release notes. Understand “What’s coming (and when)”. Present the new features to the relevant users & training.
Requirements
* Salesforce Administrator Certification.
* 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring or administering Salesforce.com
* 4+ years designing , maintaining & implementing Salesforce functionality.
* Knowledge of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) – Big Advantage.
* Knowledge and understanding of the Salesforce.com platform, ecosystem and best practices
* Ability to coordinate with internal developers and SFDC professional services to provide solution suggestions and constructive feedback
* Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies
* Proven ability to understand business needs and translate them not only into processes that scale but also quickly deploy them in salesforce.com
