Engineer you will own and build highly-scalable world-class products. You'll
need to get your hands dirty in state-of-the-art technologies and push
yourself outside of your comfort zone.
Responsibilities:
* innovate ideas and make them happen in production.
* Work with the top engineers and product teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into an effective technical solution.
* Lead the design of extensible software architecture allowing Grubhub to be agile and react to changes quickly.
* End-to-end product ownership: design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring.

Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience building highly-scalable applications.
* 3+ years experience with Python, experience with Java and React – an advantage.
* Experience in building distributed microservices on cloud infrastructures (AWS and Kubernetes as a bonus)
* Experience with python frameworks (Django) – an advantage.
* Experience with leading projects in system design, architecture changes, and technology selection.
* Experience designing and developing testable rapidly deployed performant software.
* Experience with databases -NoSQL and SQL.
* Team player with great communication skills.
* An “innovative problem-solving” and “can-do” attitude, with excitement for emerging technologies.
