Currently we are seeking for a talented Project Manager to join our Delivery
team.
About The Role
The Software Delivery Project Manager will be responsible for planning,
executing and delivering Harman Software Management solution to its customers
and other suppliers on schedule, quality, scope and budget. The Project
Manager is expected to collaborate with customers, additional suppliers, 3rd
party vendors, regional teams, engineering R&D groups, product management,
marketing and technical support stakeholders. Project Management engagement
starts as early as pre-sales, through initial requirements analysis and
efforts estimate, solution design, requirements clarifications implementation,
delivery until project sign-off.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Plan and execute complex projects according to deadlines, budget and quality benchmarks
* Manage project related documentation like SOW, project Gantt and other plans
* Collect efforts estimations for project specific tasks and convert them into NRE costs
* Manage project governance tasks together with periodic reporting to Harman and customer management
* Update project management tools following Harman's project management process.
* Effectively manage and communicate project tasks and commitments with project team members
* Manage customer expectations, through collaboration with stakeholders across the organization
* Work closely with customers (technical and executive level) understanding the requirements in a wide view, and develop effective working relationships
* Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and crises, and devise contingency plans as needed
* Be actively involved in optimizing and improving work process and methodologies. Participate in Lessons Learned sessions for continuous improvement
Skills & Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience in Project/Program management
* Management capabilities – leadership, decision making
* Software engineering/ Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
* Perfect English
* Ability to successfully operate under pressure
* Strong verbal/ presentation abilities
* Self-management capabilities; positivity and a high motivation
* Strong methodological background, independent, quick learner, excellent relationship
* Improvisation skills, “out of the box” thinking
* Desire to proactively and flexibly take on new challenges, applying past experience
