Job Description:
Sr Software Engineer
BlazeMeter’s backend team is growing!
The backend software engineer is one of the key members of the development
organization. As a senior developer, you will be working with the latest and
up-to-date technologies to create and build cutting-edge features for
BlazeMeter’s Continuous Testing Platform.
You will be responsible for:
* Developing Blazemeter’s multi-cloud production backend
* Developing Blazemeter’s on-premise “Private Cloud” solution
* Optimizing data crunching pipelines in the cloud
* Designing and implementing internal development tools
* Researching and introducing new tools and technologies
* Working as an integral part of a cross-functional engineering team
* Contributing to the continual improvement of the product and development processes.
* Participating in the software development process following the Agile/Scrum model.
How You’ll Stand Out
Must Haves:
* BA/BSc Computer Science
* At least 5 years of proven experience with OOP languages (e.g. PHP, Python, Java)
* At least 1 years of hands-on experience with developing using cloud based technologies
* Experience with REST frameworks (Preferably in PHP)
* Good knowledge of Linux environments
* Team player spirit with good communication skills
Good to Have:
* Experience with cloud APIs (AWS, GCE, etc.)
* Experience with DB programming (Mongo, Redis – advantage)
* Docker and Kubernetes knowledge
* Good understanding of Agile/Scrum, unit testing, code reviews
