How You’ll Contribute as our System Architect:
* Lead the architecture process to successful implementation
* Actively refine and challenge architecture to fit development evolution. Recommend new technologies when needed.
* Manage and advocate to reduce technical debt
* Work closely with Product Managers and other system architects to align, consult and adjust the architecture.
* Push R&D initiatives as needed to align the product to product standards
* Coach, escort, and mentor other developers
* Improve our deployment process and work toward CI-CD capabilities and tools
* Build and maintain the framework for automating alert response
* Help develop the team direction and tools for smooth and automatic deployment and monitoring
* Maintain our well architected AWS design and expand it to future product line
The Skills and Experience You Bring:
* At least 5 years of experience as a software architect
* Deep familiarity with cloud infrastructures and architectures – specifically AWS
* Took a significant part in a large scale web cloud-based product
* Deep understanding and knowledge of modern monitoring and alerting tools
* Experience with configuration management
* Experience with some of the DevOps standard tools
* Experience managing Mac, Windows and Linux servers
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Experience in conducting the architecture of at least 2 large products from scratch
