The Position:
We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Leader with data-oriented
background and managerial experience. Your team will be responsible for
designing and implementing complex pipelines, dealing with a massive amount of
data, and analyze it in order to generate BI insights. This is a unique
opportunity to join the handful of people shaping and leading Trigo’s

A day in the life:
* Manage extremely talented Software Engineers and Data scientists
* Guide your team to design, implement, test and deploy high traffic features and applications, with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and security
* Participate in the development of an enterprise-grade, highly scalable, and robust cloud-based microservices architecture
* Work closely with relevant stakeholders, including product, operations, and infosec
You bring to the table:
* BSc. in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or similar fields
* At least 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer
* At least 3 years of experience in managing engineering teams
* Mission-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills
* Strong team player
* Experience in production cloud-based environments
* Experience with Big Data technologies
* Experience with event-based and message-driven distributed systems in scale
* Strong understanding of microservice architecture and hands-on experience in developing and deploying microservices
* Worked with CI/CD methodologies
* Have a deep understanding of strong Computer Science fundamentals: object-oriented design, code optimization, complexity
Nice to have:
* Experience with BI frameworks and tools
* Experience in managing researchers
* Strong programming skills
