About the position:
We are looking for a passionate Software Manager to join us on this exciting
path and be part of our R&D group in Herzliya, Israel! The role presents huge
opportunities for growth in the areas of Software Development. Having recently
merged with another start-up, we’re set up for international sales, scaling up
our team, and delivering a new combined product offering. Your contributions
will be used in a real product by asset and portfolio managers with hundreds
of billion dollars of assets under management.
How you will contribute:
* Lead and manage a growing team of backend developers.
* Own the full development lifecycle from the requirement to design, implementation, and testing in Agile methodology.
* Work closely with all relevant cross-functional teams (Product, Designers, Sales, Marketing, Data Science, and QA)
* Manage ongoing maintenance and improvement of product features.
* Development of a FinTech start-up, financed by industry-relevant investors and partners
* Opportunity to shape the AI-based credit risk analysis of the future
What we are looking for:
* B.sc in computer science, information systems, engineering or equivalent required
* At least 2 years management experience
* At least 5 years industry experience in software design & development
* At least 2 years of experience in application Python backend development
* Experience with AWS technologies like EC2, RDS, SQS, EMR, MSK, DynamoDB
* Experience working with Agile methodologies, using CI/CD processes
* Team player mentality
* Fluent written and spoken English
Strong advantage:
* Experience building API products (knows protocols/formats/best practices)
* Experience with databases and SQL
* Experience in B2B products
* Experience in SaaS in the financial sector
* Experience in one or more of the following areas: Fixed-income, Wealth Management and/or asset management, global financial markets
