Startups Sales Manager, Israel – SMB

The SMB team in Israel is looking for the right individual to join the team as
a Startups sales manager working directly with Israel’s top growth technology
companies.

In this role, you will develop and execute on a sales strategy that focuses on
the top startups landscape building relationships with founders and CEOs of
startups. The ideal candidate for the role has proven experience working in
startups and venture capital. In addition, having prior corporate startup
experience along with previous experience and relationships with accelerators
and incubators. You are a data-driven individual, who is passionate about
technology, startups and excited about technology companies growth. Candidate
should possess both a business background as well as a technical background
that enables them to interact with business and technical founders. They
should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and
analytically about business, product, and technical challenges. You will take
part in help the success of incredible companies and enable them to accelerate
their growth.

Responsibilities

* Build and manage relationships with the founders and CEOs of startups
* Identify co-develop, co-market and co-sell opportunities for startups
* Create strategic connections between Startups to relevant Microsoft corporate organizations
* Become a trusted advisor to portfolio companies of startups through mentorship, delivering added value and support their technical and business needs
* Generate signups, deal flow and pipeline management across leading startups
* Support the SMC, ISV and Azure sales teams team in projects and initiatives
* Be the eyes and ears to industry news, read tech blogs/posts regarding technical innovations, and provide regular updates to team
* Evangelize the value proposition and resources available for startups that Microsoft has to offer.

Qualifications

Qualifications (Required)

* 10+ years of proven experience and deep knowledge in the startup ecosystem
* 10+ years of proven experience in sales, strategy and development
* Demonstrated interest and experience in technology, startups, and corporate innovation
* An existing high-quality network within the startup ecosystem in Israel
* Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and/or Masters Degree in Business or Technology
* Skillful problem-solving and negotiating abilities
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple dynamic dependencies
* A demonstrated understanding of investments and how they are made
