We have an immediate opening for a Software Team Lead/developer to work in our
Software team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and
supporting innovative software for X-ray metrology tools used in the
semiconductor industry. Experience writing in C#.Net a must, Experience in
mixed C++ and managed code. Qualified candidates should have a B.A. or B.Sc
degree in Computer Science or a related field together with industry
experience.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Design and develop OO modules in Bruker tool operating software.
* Develop fully working software modules including test-cases.
* Support and improve existing software.
* Collaborate with the application, tech support, Core Technology and production teams.
* Communicate clearly and concisely (in English).
* Ability to lead a small SW team
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
* Fluency and strong experience of a modern object oriented languages such as C# and C++.
* Experience with industry standard tools such as: TFS/Dev Ops, Git, MS Visual Studio 2017+.
* Must be a self-starter able to work independently as well as part of a small team on challenging problems
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills (in English and Hebrew)
* Follow Bruker R&D flow: PRD, DR, FDR, STD, SRN
Knowledge in one, or more, of the following areas would be a distinct
advantage:
* Semiconductors industry experience
* SECS/GEM protocol
* gRPC/ Inter Process Communication
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in in computer sciences/software engineering.
* 3+ years experience in software development, part of it in technical leadership roles (architect, tech lead, team lead)
* Demonstrated experience in product releases throughout the entire development cycle (preferably multidisciplinary system)
* Expertise in C#, C++, and techniques used to implement quality software products.
* Experience with semiconductor industry – an advantage.
* Experience with developing packages for 3 rd party HW devices – an advantage.
* Excellent communication, influencing skills and ability to gain buy-in for initiatives
* Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed, and customer focused environment
* Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
