Mitiga is looking for an experienced and passionate cybersecurity leader to
manage our Incident Response, Hunt, and Red teams across Israel, the United
States, and the United Kingdom. We seek a subject matter expert in incident
response and cyber forensics with strong leadership capabilities to join us on
our journey to build an innovative cloud security platform for incident
readiness, response, and recovery. The ideal candidate will not only manage a
team of experts tackling innovative cybersecurity challenges, but represent
the growing company's vision, strategy, and culture globally.
In this role, you will lead the technical aspects of Mitiga’s readiness and
response activities (including investigations, red team exercises, and threat
hunting), manage Mitiga’s revolutionary cloud attack research, build and
manage a global group of cybersecurity experts, and design and improve our
unique internal technological capabilities. You will also collaborate and work
with the most advanced companies in the world, bringing effective
communication and interpersonal skills to build productive long-term
relationships with our customers. Your leadership skills include growing the
skills and expertise of your team members while building cooperative and
impassioned teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Build and manage a global group of top-tier cybersecurity researchers and forensic experts, manage engagements, and provide professional guidance and inspiration.
* Lead incident response investigations, hunting efforts, red team exercises, and technical readiness activities, including investigation and remediation response to large-scale sophisticated attacks.
* Design and improve internal incident response technical capabilities, methodologies, and processes.
* Lead new research into cloud attacks and build our attack scenario library.
* Help design and improve our unique internal technology to scale up incident response capabilities in the cloud.
* Join the executive team and lead the growth of the company.
Requirements
Management and Leadership Requirements
* At least ten years of experience leading and managing technical security teams
* Unwavering focus and crisis management skills, as well as the ability to manage relationships and communication channels
* Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills: able to articulate complex technical issues in a concise and confident manner to both technical personnel and executive level management
* In-depth thinking and ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Cybersecurity
* Strong forensics knowledge and technical understanding of network fundamentals, common Internet protocols, and system and security controls
* In-depth understanding of the lifecycle of advanced security threats, attack vectors, and methods of exploitation
* Experience with the tools and techniques used in security event analysis, incident response, computer forensics, malware analysis, and other areas of security operations
* Experience and passion for creative and innovative research in cybersecurity areas
* A background in cloud security is an advantage in this role
